What to Expect During Intra-Oral Massage
Intra-oral/buccal massage involves working on the muscles inside the mouth to release deep facial and jaw tension. This advanced technique is especially effective for TMJ relief, facial sculpting, and lymphatic drainage.
Your comfort, safety, and hygiene are our top priorities.
During the session:
-
Your massage therapist will wear gloves at all times when performing intra-oral work.
-
Gloves are changed immediately before and after this portion of the treatment.
-
Only a portion of the session involves intra-oral massage—the rest includes external facial, jaw, and neck techniques to support full relaxation and integration.
-
You’ll be fully informed before this part of the session begins, and we’ll check in with you throughout to ensure your comfort.
This technique is always optional and tailored to your needs. Many clients find it deeply therapeutic and transformative, especially for long-held jaw tension.
